Brokerage process

A documented path from authority to transfer.

Private transactions require more than introductions. Northline uses a controlled workflow designed to reduce ambiguity, protect instructions and keep both sides moving toward a secure close.

01

Qualification

Confirm the domain, ownership route, commercial objective, price parameters and whether a focused process is justified.

02

Written authority

Document the represented party, scope, commission or fee, duration, confidentiality, protected counterparties and approval limits.

03

Research and positioning

Build the buyer or owner thesis, identify decision-makers and prepare only defensible strategic rationale.

04

Controlled outreach

Send individually reviewed messages, record contact history and stop when a recipient objects or is not relevant.

05

Negotiation

Qualify intent and authority, communicate offers accurately and consult the client before material concessions.

06

Independent closing

Confirm price and terms, initiate an established escrow or transfer service, coordinate transfer and document completion.

Funds and transfer

Northline does not hold purchase funds.

Buyer and seller agree the domain, price, fees, transfer method and inspection terms before funding. Purchase funds should be held by an established independent escrow or domain-transfer provider selected for the transaction.

Northline coordinates communication and milestones but does not act as a bank, escrow agent, registrar, attorney, tax adviser or trademark adviser.
