Sell-side representation

A focused route to strategic buyers.

Northline represents selected domain owners where realistic pricing, identifiable end users and a documented mandate support a credible transaction process.

Representation

Not a passive marketplace listing.

Each accepted assignment begins with a review of the domain, ownership, seller expectations, price flexibility and likely buyer universe. If the mandate is viable, Northline develops a ranked buyer thesis and conducts individually reviewed outreach.

Representation is performance-based unless otherwise agreed in writing. Commission, duration, exclusivity, protected buyers and the seller’s commercial parameters are documented before outreach begins.

What the process covers

From qualification to transfer.

Positioning

Commercial fit, naming advantages, likely use cases and defensible price guidance.

Buyer research

Exact-match users, funded companies, weaker-domain users and strategically adjacent buyers.

Direct outreach

Short, specific communication to relevant decision-makers—without fabricated urgency or mass blasting.

Negotiation

Offer qualification, counteroffers, seller consultation and disciplined concession management.

Closing coordination

Agreed terms, independent escrow, domain transfer, buyer confirmation and documented payout.

Confidentiality

Seller identity and sensitive commercial information disclosed only when appropriate and authorized.

Initial review

Submit a domain for consideration.

Not every domain is accepted. A concise review protects the owner’s time and keeps representation focused on assets with credible end-user potential.
